AdSense goes RSS

Google announced a few days ago the long awaited RSS integration of AdSense to Feedburner. AdSense integration to Feedburner has been for quite some time in Beta tests, allowing only select publishers to be eligible for the program. After this new service launches not only will CPM ads appear in Feedburner feeds but the classic text ads we love or hate will be there as well. In theory, by allowing Google ads to be displayed on feeds publishers can now face less struggle to try to attract their RSS readers to visit their web site by generating income from their feed. This endless struggle has been the primary debate issue with the full RSS feed supporters versus partial feed supporters in the Blogosphere. There are plenty of opinions online from web masters claiming that AdSense in RSS will not convert well, while other users glorify Google’s new money making toy. But the truth for now is that only the few select minority of publishers who where allowed to participate in the beta testing know if AdSense for RSS is a powerful monetization option for feeds or not, since other options like selling links on feeds have received negative responses and often are seen by publishers as inefficient monetization options.
Even though there is a lot of speculation around AdSense in feeds, It will surely hit the internet with a bang on launch date. So to all people trying to monetize their feeds, there is a new option that will hit the internet soon. Well, at least we hope.
What do you think of AdSense integration to Feedburner feeds?
